A wonderful article. I enjoyed reading it very much. But I wonder where you got the pictures of Snow White and her parents? I know you link to Wiki, but only the mother’s pic is available and that one does not show a page. The other pics are not on the pages you link to. Those pics cannot be accurate if the story happened in the 1700s. The father is clearly dressed for the 1500s, maybe early 1600s. The mother’s statue shows fashion popular in the 1400s. And the painting of the young woman is absolutely from around 1830.
Which someone could have painted of her, though not from life. Otherwise, facinating!
